Christmas is coming... to PALM SPRINGS!

‘The Last Noel’ (written by Slouch Potato’s Brian Robinson, directed by Marc De Launay, co-produced by Mandragora Productions and Edinburgh Mediabase, and starring the late Michael Elder as ‘Santa Claus’) has been selected for screening at the Palm Springs International Short Film Festival.

The short, which was made as part of a 16mm Summer School for young Scottish talent, will be screening on the 1st and the 3rd of September. Marc is sadly unable to attend the festival due to commitments at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, but has invited Brian to attend in his place. We are currently seeking funding to support his attendance and are hopeful that someone will come up with the readies…

Marc has requested that the screenings be dedicated to the memory of Michael Elder, the much respected veteran of Scottish stage and screen, who died on the 9th of August, aged 73.
